Shocking real-time images of suicides, murder and abuse have put a rather harsh light on livestreams. “Raw and visceral”, as Mark Zuckerberg put it. Raw indeed. But there is a flip side to all of these horror stories: millions of livestreams that make us laugh, condense distance or provide new and novel access. People dancing, doing nothing, talking to the camera – but where do you find the best streams? Everyone Is Live gives the audience mediated access to this intangible medium. Guided by a moderator, our panel takes you through a selection of interesting, hilarious and bizarre livestreams. The concept has been developed by S†ëfan Schäfer and Jasper Koning during the masterclass Sandberg@Mediapark "Radical Imagination".
