You speak. It prints! During the Publishing Karaoke workshop we will experiment with co-producing an instant publication, utilising an interactive publishing tool. How does it work? With the help of speech-to-text technology the tool translates spoken word to text. An algorithm simultaneously runs an automated image search, querying the spoken words and adding the images accordingly. The outcome: a printed publication! 

The immediacy of the voice as a content generator and the possibility of starting a dialogue with the technology serve as vehicle for participation, enabling conversations about unusual publishing methods and the (im)possibilities of automation processes. Bring your curiosity for automated editorial processes and DIY zine production.
