DDW21 | Opening Hara Hachi Bu village

Help us build Pigeon Towers by dancing!

Sunday 17 October at 13.30, the Hara Hachi Bu village officially opens with a Gentle Disco in collaboration with Mediamatic. Enter the mycelium dancefloor and - very gently - press the mycelium bricks whilst dancing slowly to some great tunes. Together we contribute to the building process of the Pigeon Towers - an ongoing experimental project by Arne Hendriks to build with living mycelium waste from oyster mushroom farm Verbruggen Paddestoelen.

From 16 till 24 October, several artists, designers and researchers inhabit the temporary village next to the Ketelhuisplein. Drop by and experience yourself how you can take a step back.
