Studio Arvid & Marie, Martina Huynh and Jonas Althaus invite Ruben Pater, Merien ten Houten and Daniëlle Arets to talk about filter bubbles in news media.
Hello there, reader. So, you are interested in today's journalistic landscape? Actually, I have been wanting to ask you something about that for a while… How do you think personalisation impacts journalism? I mean, do you think it will inevitably lead to bubbles of self-confirmation? Or do you think it could be the breeding ground for new, diverse ideas if done differently? What about you, have you experienced how the collective opinion shaped your individual perspective? I would really love to hear your thoughts. If I invited you to a talk show to experiment on this topic, would you come?
Studio Arvid & Marie, Martina Huynh and Jonas Althaus will experiment with giving the audience control in the talkshow. During the course of the evening, they make you increasingly aware of the tension between individual and collective perception in new media journalism. How will you handle all the diverse types of information?
Danielle Arets, Merien ten Houten, Ruben Pater
When 27 October 18.00 - 19.00
