Silent Sky Project#72 at MU
By artist Rob Sweere
In the Silent Sky Project#, Dutch artist Rob Sweere invites people to collectively watch the sky, lying on their backs in a particular setting, in silence. Lying in the sun we close our eyes and when it rains a bit we seek shelter. What happens to our body and mind when, instead we confront ourselves with the weather for half an hour?
The Silent Sky Project# is a participatory art project that has taken place around the world 71 times in 28 countries. On September 3rd 2016, 4pm, a new edition will take place on the lawn of MU artspace Strijp-S, Eindhoven.
Participating is free and you can register here via Eventbrite!
*Bring a mat, blanket and rainwear if necessary.
