Ongesigneerd (Unsigned) is a VPRO podcast on inconspicuous design, inspired by the American podcast 99% Invisible. We are surrounded by things that you never see as being meticulously designed. Radio makers Laura Stek and Tjitske Mussche lead the way into a hidden world of pavement tiles, playgrounds and traffic lights. There is even a grand theory behind street light design. In the first two seasons, they treated fourteen designs including street names, the shopping centre and the cemetery. The third season will be launched during Dutch Design Week; a night with architects, designers and philosophers who highlight some of the most discrete examples of design.
