MU is temporarily closed due to the latest COVID-19 measures. Starting to miss us? No worries! There will be plenty to see and discover online.
Weekly we launch an interview on the Evolutionaries Vimeo channel. Program maker Isolde Hallensleben interviewed both the three winners of the BAD Award 2020, as well as one winner from each previous years. All present new work during Evolutionaries. The in total 12 interviewed artists take you along their speculative, daring and eccentric bio art and design projects. Together the diverse works underline how meaningful a prize like the BAD Award is for the collaboration between art and science.
Furthermore, you can experience MU's last two exhibitions online. On Vimeo we present a series of interviews with artists participating in Worlding Worlds. Also, the website created for The Self Design Academy is still up and running! Visit the online version of the exhibition for extensive info about the artists and their works, Nadiah & Hanneke’s moving day to MU, three Karaoke Discourse evenings that were presented online during DDW and three literary videos created in collaboration with De Gids, in which poets & writers reflect on works with texts specially written for the exhibition.
We hope you can visit MU soon again. Meanwhile: take good care of yourself in these long dark lockdown days. Maybe yoga teacher Nicole van Kempen can help you with that with her online meditation session, which was part of the installation MindMeditation.net by Brigitte Jansen:
