Seniors
MU brings together different generations
In MU’s FlipLab we are developing new tools and methods that can be used in a playful manner to pass on some knowledge about new forms of art and visual culture, not only to the young, but also to a (growing) more elderly target group. The FlipLab is based on the idea of the Upside Down University, where seniors learn from juniors by intensive cooperation between the two groups.
Watch the short documentary by Danny van der laan about reverse mentoring at MU.
In collaboration with STRP and Dutch Design Week, MU is currently working on a long-range program for senior citizens, named KunstRoute65. In addition, MU FlipLab has entered a structural collaboration with SintLucas to organise workshops in which senior citizens can learn from students, for instance about gaming.
Who is it for?
60+ and anyone who feels old enough to be able to learn from a younger.
