The Object is Absent is a manifesto for less materialistic design. The MU Hybrid Art House collaborated with Lucas Maassen, Alexandre Humbert and Tom Loois to make an exhibition that takes a radical step against the cheap abundance of things. Without actual products, but with all else designers have to offer (their attitudes, ideas, bodies, minds, etc.) we give space back to people. 

After the first manifestation at MU during DDW, The Object is absent will now be presented at OBJECT Rotterdam 2020. In the middle of all tactile things, The Object is Absent creates value with nothing.
