SECOND AUDITION FOR BODIES IS URBAN SPACES BY CIE. WILLI DORNER

Cie. Willi Dorner and artspace MU are looking for dancers for the three day workshop and performances ‘Bodies in Urban Spaces’.

The performance.
The outdoor performance ‘Bodies in Urban Spaces’ by Austrian choreographer Cie. Willi Dorner is a moving trail, choreographed for a group of dancers. The performers lead the audience through selected parts of public and semi-public spaces. A chain of physical interventions set up very quickly and only existing temporarily, allows the viewer to perceive the same space or place in a new and different way - on the run. During three days the dancers will be personally trained by Cie Willi Dorner and rehearse the trail in the surroundings of MU on Strijp S, Eindhoven. On the third day after a final rehearsal the performance will be part of the show Small Gestures in MU.

Requirements.
We are looking for 15 dancers, male or female, modern dancers, acrobats, parcour runners or break dancers, with experience in energetic public performances and able to hold a position for a certain time.

Audition.
After our first audition we already assembled a good group, but to really experience a full trail we need at least ten more dancers. The second audition will take place at United-C, Kleine berg 62 in Eindhoven on the 29th of May at 15:30. Your education and, mainly, your experience will determine if you are allowed to audition. Schedule.
Second Audition: Wednesday May 29th, starting 15:30 till 17:30
Workshop: Wednesday June 19th from 10:00 till 18:00
Workshop: Thursday June 20th from 10:00 till 18:00
Workshop and performance: Friday June 21th from 10:00 till 18:00

Participating on both the audition as the workshop/performance is free. During the workshop we will offer of a good lunch and your travel costs will be covered. We cannot offer any other financial compensation.
